Executive Chef Chris & Pastry Chef Mayra met in Miami, FL where they gained vast experience working in different Hotels-Resorts, Fine Dining Restaurants, Culinary Institutes and exclusive Private Clubs.
They both attended Johnson & Wales University in Miami, FL. where they earned a degree in culinary and pastry arts.
The duo of chefs have more than 20 years of experience creating delicious recipes for patrons to enjoy.
Café Duo Restaurant is the loving evolution of two outstanding culinary careers, those of Chefs Chris and Mayra.
More than ten years ago they moved to Greenville, North Carolina where they fell in love with the small city atmosphere and decided to call it their home
Their cooking style may be described as creative American cuisine with some classic rustic European influences
Their philosophy is to provide you with a simple and tasty meal in a pleasant atmosphere.
